An emotional high point of the John Burroughs High School Powerhouse 2015 show choir set, "IDOL," "Ring A Bell" -- written by Noah & Abby Gundersen, arranged by JBHS alumni Joe Leone, directed by Brendan Jennings -- is a rousing, iconoclastic a cappella piece.

Powerhouse's excellence -- as vocalists, dancers, and showstoppers -- is world renowned. Last spring, they claimed their seventh National Championship title since 2007, this time at New England Show Choir Showdown in Boston.

The vocal complexity, emotional eclecticism, and creative bravado of "Ring A Bell" was certainly a key component of Powerhouse's triumphant 2015 competition season.

Starts with a whisper
A shimmering light
A blink of a flashbulb
